COST: Varies, depending upon length of stay and trip options. 

 

The 2013 trip cost was $3,350 INCLUDING airfare from the US west coast.  Cost was approximately $1,800 without airfare for 21 days.  This included all transfers, vehicle rentals, fuel, tolls, most food at The Chainstay, all lodging (Chainstay and hotel), all support and race expenses associated with the Sint-Martinusprijs Stage Race, etc.  Not included were miscellaneous expenses, restaurant meals and extra food, souvenirs, museum entry, etc.  

 

We anticipate a reduction for 2014, as our planned trip has significantly less driving and hotel expense.   This will give you a ROUGH estimate to start with, until we can finalize all of the expenses for 2014.  

 

Note that there will be additional expenses for the two participants who extend their trip and race with the Belgian team for the rest of the summer.  Housing at low cost has been arranged with local host families for these two persons. 

 

More information will be posted soon.  Note that this is a NOT-FOR-PROFIT program.  We do this because we like to share this unique experience with junior cyclists.  We simply make the arrangements using our growing network of skilled and talented resources and we split the costs evenly among the participants.

 

To reserve your slot for one of the six positions (17/18M) available on this trip, we are accepting deposits.  

 

 

Deposit is $300 plus a $10 paypal fee.  The $300 deposit is fully refundable until March 31, 2014.  From April 1 - April 30, 2014, the deposit is 50% refundable.  After May 1, 2014, the deposit is non-refundable unless there are person(s) on the waiting list who ultimately participate in the trip in your place.
